Ive found a reasonably source of plastic that normally just goes to waste at work in the form of dead fridges. The fridges are from Europe and as such are really well labelled with the material they’re made of.
Most of the bits are ABS but some are labeled as BS (an arrow points from ABS to BS so I know its not a typo etc.
Has anyone else recycled this BS plastic? can it be mixed with ABS and just be used as a single source?
My main aim is to produce 3D printing filament if that makes a difference.

STrange acronym… BS ?? never seen that. if you follow the logics of ABS : acrylonitrile – butadiene – styrene : it would mean BS is a copolymer of butadiene and styrene ; and this is a big family again. if B is introduced as polybutadiene, then BS is high impact polystyrene or HIPS. if B is introduced as butadiene monomer, it might be butadiene-styrene copolymer which is often produced as a latex, that after drying forms a rubbery film. There alre also block rubbers of styrene and butadiene, these are rubbery blocks that can be molded.
A adds lot of polarity to ABS and makes it incompatible with BS (as defined above).
