Hi everyone!
Has anyone attempted to make different products with moulds, such as tiles, or other items with the extrusion that the compression can make?
Is there a surface area limit, let’s say with a 3hp motor, that the extrusion can force the plastic before it cools?
Would 5×5 tiles be possible? 15×15 tiles?

Just the question I came here to ask!
I am just assembling our extruder and want to make blocks/tiles with it (as well as extruded things) and am working on some mold designs, I have a thought that the molds need release holes because the extruded plastic will keep flowing under pressure and I could see this might be dangerous (or at least problematic)
I did see some post on here from someone already doing this but I cant find it now? In theory, there is no reason it wont work, just needs the right vision and design
