Filaments and fibers from trash

anybody interest in a process/equipment able to make fibres and filaments out of PET, PP, PE and eventually PA if you can find it around…?
filaments could be used to be woven in nets for fishing, in mats like those to be used for covering stuffs, twisted in ropes or used as such as fishing lines…
if anybody is interested, I can work on and publish some drawings/indications…

Yes, I have been looking at some braiding machines lately (New England Butt Braiding Machines, and this one someone DIY’ed (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vrvDPKAg1Vc)) and was thinking of extruding the strands of plastic directly into the feed of the braiding machine.

Hey Kent!
How would you imagine to do it…?
the filament needs to be stretched with a certain “draw-down” in order to acquire tensile properties and even if you can take multiple fibres out of a spinneret, the guides on the braider has to turn and twist…
maybe you have in mind something so clever I don’t get it straight forward…? 🙂
in any case, if it’s interesting I’ll collect some material and publish it for you here in the next days/weeks, ok?
