Hello people, I am thinking of making a material for an outdoor, engineering type project
What are your tips for fusing plastic bags? I am assuming that for best results I should use a homogenous composition of plastic, and I am also anticipating that sorting the plastic bags into the correct types is the biggest problem, am I correct?

to get the best results, you have to use the same type of plastic. for fusing them together the most simple way to do it would be to use an iron with a sheet of baking paper under it
If you’re working with larger quantities then you should think in some kind of sheet press, even a home made one that takes the (iron + parchment paper + press surface) design and improves it into something much more easier to use.
