Has anyone converted the metric dimentions to decimal yet

Hey everyone. Found this site earlier this year, but didn’t have the time to invest. Recovering from surgery, I now have the time.

I noticed the plans are done in metric measure, but have seen a few mentions of conversions to “imperial” or decimal measures in the forum. I have been unsuccessful in finding this conversion on the website or attached links to any post.

If I have missed it, could someone be kind enough to point me in the right direction?

Thanks!!

Everything for the most part is roughly measured and can be swapped out with Imperial no real conversion needed. Just measure your parts in Inches instead.

The only real exception to this is the laser parts which have an unofficial conversion here: http://onearmy.world/community/forums/topic/plans-in-standard-units-not-metric/
and an official one (need metric steel) here: http://onearmy.world/community/forums/topic/shredder-modifications/

Aside: In the future I think Imperial is the forum accepted name for the U.S. measurement system even us Americans decided to name 3 times.

One of our forum members converted the shredder drawings to imperial units. No one have tested cutting a shredder with his drawings but theoretically, they should work just fine:
