How is PVC to work with

I’ve recently discovered Precious Plastic web site. I’m in the construction trades in the US. There’s lot’s of PVC that electrical & plumbing pipe pipe is made of. Which as far as I know the scrap doesn’t get recycle. I feel I could get an endless supply from building projects. Is it a good plastic to work with? I know it is one of the most toxic. Thank you.

Looks like it is easy to reshape, heat locally and then bend, but melting it to inject could be tricky. Does PVC also release toxic gasses when it melts or only when it burns?

Nasty stuff… I wonder what pvc product is the least harmful for nature.
Looks like it is best to use for very expensive artworks, so expensive that it never will be recycled again…
