Hello guys,
since our working space doesn’t allow us to weld yet, we needed an alternative for the hopper. Here is what we did:
Material: 4mm MDF
Machine: Laser Cutter
Assembled: normal wood glue

The hopper’s design is characterized by two parallel surfaces. We designed a lid on the top, it can be combined with a security sensor. There is also an opening in the back to have an emergency close reach to the blades, in case something gets stuck.
