NEW Precious Plastic Location U.S.A

Hey I am new to the site. Not new to plastic clean ups as I have been doing lots of work in Hawaii….I am on the mainland right now and decided I would convert a shop that I have into a U.S. machine building makers place and a recycle facility. I will be making videos and youtube channel soon.

Aloha

p.s. The new location is in Coeur d’ alene Idaho

I was wondering if people who live by the ocean can wash the plastic collected, in salt water? Also there are people trying to figure how to make hand cranks. So one could use a bicycle to run the chopper. But ultimately it would need electricity to melt & mold. I am not a mechanic so all this is hard to figure out to draw up proposals. I just think this would help in areas that are off the beaten track to clean up their beaches and make useful things.
From what I am reading the designs are still in the works. I love the idea but how to promote it in other areas is my path. When I get some designs, costs & outlines I can move further with my proposals.
I will watch your progress!
Andrea

Hi Luke,
My son Nathan told me about precious plastic project last week. He is a mechanical engineer at Bullet Tools in Hayden. So what projects have you done and have you found a good way to sort plastic effectively before shredding?

Great to hear there is another builder in US. It would be great to collaborate related to vendors you use for parts and maybe even go in on some bulk part orders for some of the machined parts needed. We have recently started Precious Plastic Los Angeles. We are almost finished with our shredder and will be building the injector next. Follow us here https://www.facebook.com/preciousplasticla/
