Philippines Machines

So I am building a couple machines, however finding the gear box motors locally has been quite expensive.

So I have found this motor frame used for another item and adapted it for the Precious Plastic machines.

It can accept the shredder or the extruder, same frame, a sort of universal drive kit.

This one is still under construction (needs guard for the pulley)

I have installed a fusebox on the machine, and a industrial grade emergency stop switch (the switch holder machined in house on the CNC) I still have to 3D print the wiring cover that will shield the wires underneath.

It is a bit more compact and light weight for sea shipping to the other islands here in the Philippines.

Eventually I would like to develop a more commercial machine similar to this, but using CNC plasma cut parts and moving the belt and pulley inside the frame, boxing it in with sheet metal for safety, and making it a more mass production machine.

I have a CNC plasma table in the shop right now, but it is for modification for a client and I dont have room (or funds) to build another one for myself just yet.

I also will probably need to get a metal brake.

This represents 4 work days progress with 2 people, including one day for parts purchase.

Since it is the first set of machines, it takes awhile to figure out the work flow. In past projects, making something, I find that I need to make at least 10 units to get some sort of proficiency at building that item.
