Precious Plastic Russia

Hello everyone, friends. I’m from Rostov on the Don, Russia. We have a World Cup here in the summer) come to visit)
On the topic: I’m studying the issue of creating a shredder. Laser cut already ordered, it remains to pay. At once there was a question – if the steel is not stainless it will strongly affect the work?)
But the main problem for me is the engine. We simply do not have such. Now I search the Internet to find something more or less sane.
I will blog on youtube, just immediately warn – English I have bad, I will lead in Russian, but the subtitles will be)
See you soon!

Hello! Almost ready for my shredders!
I’ve been looking for a shredder for a week, but I just can not find it (
In the meantime, I created a group in the most widespread social network in Russia VKontakte and the channel in the Telegram! Subscribe and share skills

Hello! While waiting for the heaters bought stickers to sort the plastic)
I ground some bottles and PET. But today a misfortune happened – the condenser for the engine was covered. Since I have 1 phase network without a capacitor, the motor will not work. Tomorrow I’m going to the market to buy a new condenser)

Finished the workplace of the injector) It remains to buy heaters and thermostats.
On the next photo – we cut out the forms for the injector on the CNC

@drakula16
Impressive! 👌 and perfect!

I’m starting to make an injection)

That’s the volume done over the weekend) We need more plastic)
Starting on Monday we will start producing the injection)

Hello Polina, we are located in Miami-USA and in Sao Bernardo – Brazil, if you need help, please let us know.

Best Regards

sell on the bazar @drakula16 😀

The PP bag was grinded. Everything works fine, there are 4 more bags left) that PP is too much for me)))

Hi, yes the speed is big enough, but PP grinds at all without stopping. The lid is not particularly hampered – so while there is no need for a new engine), and in Russia there are still a few enterprises that make both electric motors and reducers)

I think the motor is too fast, if you reduce 50% speed you will have 50% torque without change motor, in add the plastic will shredd better with nop hands needed (very very dangerous). I think you could change the blade orientations too.
If you will not find a motor I could ask here if is possible to send in russia but It will be expensive I think…about 100€ shipping.

Today I reprocessed color HDPE. Very good at it. Question to the experts – what is the power of your engines? I have a snack with thick plastic
Recycling HDPE

Good afternoon! I can help with making a machine and selecting an engine. If there is a desire, everything can be done)

Hi, how is everything with plastic recycling in Russia? I think I would like to do it in Sakhalin island. What do you think about it?

The shredder is ready! Watch the video from the first launch on the link)
Please add me to the map

Hey @drakula16 and welcome!

The difference with using or not using stainless steel is that stainless is a bit harder (not a big issue), and it will not rust (bigger issue if your material that you are shredding is wet).

The motor is usually the hard part, finding the right one to a good price.

The best is to find a motor with reducer that gives you about 60rpm +/- 10.

In my case I did find a motor, and a separate reducer.

You can also use a chain drive.

Good luck with your build, and keep us up to date 🙂

The reducer is almost ready, tomorrow I take away the shaft from the reducer and everything will be neglected

Hello everyone, friends! My spare parts came for the shredder, it remains to carve the shaft and cut out the corners. Today, I primed all the parts, since the parts are not made of stainless steel
