Village Ventures Africa has been based in Mali for the past 18 years…this is a very poor area with no Industry, and it’s vital for the development of the people.
Recycling plastics is also viral as we all know.
We are looking for volunteers willing to come over to Mali, Free accommodation and basic Food, for help in setting up our first Low cost recycling programme…
We hope to raise funds for a set of 4 machines… cutting, kibbling, oven and a mould to make small bowls suitable for drinking from and can be sold locally and internationally .
Is there any one out the up for this chance to break the mould if both poverty and recycling…

I’m myself startig a small project in Togo, Westafrica, in which I want to recycle plastic as well, among other ideas.
I can not really help you financialy or with workpower, but maybe we can exchange experiences and ideas. My biggest challenge in the plastic recycling for instance, is the power! There is hardly any electricity at the place where I wanna do my project. So I’m looking for alternativ energy, like solar or even biogas…How is it in Mali? Enough power?
I’m planing to ride my motorbike down to Togo in November. Although I wasn’t planing to cross Mali, depending on where your project is situated, I could take a detour…
