Rubber rings

Hi,
I’m new in this community so i don’t know if someone tried this before.
I was thinking about rubber ring on glass jars.
– Well, what sort of plastic is it ?
– Could we do it with our precious machines by precious plastic ? 🙂

PS : Rubber ring was made with naturel rubber (rubber trees) but now it made with petroleum or plastic i think ?

it could totally be done, but the molds would have to be fairly highly polished as you would be unable to finish the plastic afterwards. in regards to the types of plastic, unfortunately i don’t have any specific types to recommend, but anything soft would be fair game, but google is your friend
