Smell Released during Recycling ProcessFood Pack

I would like what amount of smell is released during the recycling process of plastics. Do the different machines exert more/less than others? Should a make be worn at all times during the recycling process of plastics? (Just burning the plastics releases quite a strong smell) I would like to set up a small shop next to my recycling workshop location and just wanted to know whether or not the smell of the plastic would be an issue to have surrounding other shops/businesses nearby.

Also from what I saw, most of the plastics shredded were hard containers/plates, etc. However I wanted to learn if different food packages (cookie packaging, food wrappers etc ) could also be efficiently used for recycling using the Precious Plastics machinery or should the tote bag method of ironing be more efficient?

Thank you for our time!
