I wanted to show you our project! For the NGO Wells for Zoë (www.wellsforzoe.org) I am constantly redesigning the waterpump for wells in villages. The goal is that it is easy to produce, to maintain and as strong as possible.
For several parts (Valves for example) we will use the injection. We might add the shredder at a later time as we recycle our plastic chips from our production (which is being collected finally – after burning PVC for quite some time in a garden pit)… We have a JCB Hydraulic Petrolpowered Beaver Auger and I will try to adapt that engine for a shredder. Approx. 500 000 people have water through the NGO but maintenance is also a very important topic as sometimes pipes get stolen or parts break etc.
